ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL
Vegetal Origin. Rich in essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6), musk rose oil helps to improve cell regeneration and the suppleness of cell walls. The natural presence of a Vitamin A derivative (Retinol) stimulates healing and promotes collagen production. All of these regenerating properties make musk rose an excellent active ingredient to fight the effects of time on the skin.
Native to Asia, musk rose was introduced into Europe, then South America, by the Spanish. It grows wild in South America, and particularly in the Andes mountain range in Chile. Its Latin name, Rosa canina, is said to come from the belief that its roots were a cure for rabies.
