Vegetal Origin. Lecithin is a plant-based emulsifier that is valued for its emollient properties and excellent affinity with the skin. This natural emulsifier can be found in soybeans, sunflower seeds and rapeseed. When used in emulsions, it increases the stability of the formulas. It also helps to hold in moisture and is very gentle on sensitive skin.
