Vegetal Origin. Throughout the world, the roots of the carrot plant are used as a cooking ingredient. This plant produces umbrella-shaped clusters of white flowers, which contain the seeds that are steam distilled to obtain the essential oil and hydrosol. One of the main characteristics of carrot is its high Provitamin A content (carotene). This antioxidant substance fights free radicals, which are associated with cellular aging. The carrot hydrosol used by KAËL has excellent cell-regenerating properties. It is ideal for mature skin, as it promotes the renewal and growth of skin cells.
